The entire Star Trek universe received a revamp in 2009 courtesy of J.J. Abrams, but there are still quite a few classic characters from Star Trek: The Original Series that have yet to make their appearance in the new, rebooted universe. While some could very well debut in Star Trek Into Darkness, others probably aren't planned for the franchise just yet – no matter how much we want to see them.
