We're at that critical point in the lifespan of a movie where we're jonesing for more of anything from Man of Steel , but at the same time we want to go on marketing lockdown until the film hits theaters this June so nothing more is spoiled for us. So far the studio is being delicate in what they release, and these new images (courtesy of Empire) won't do significant damage to the spoilerphobe in you, except it will make you want to see the movie, like, yesterday.
Empire has gone and released two new covers in honor of Man of Steel, with one featuring Superman (Henry Cavill) and the other Zod (Michael Shannon), along with a bunch of new images splashed across the pages of its magazine. We've posted both covers below, as well as this one uber-freaky image of Zod that shows off his creepy glowing eyes. Hmm ... we wonder what's about to come out of those eyes? Something tells us it's not a jug full of love.
