Actor / director / novelist / university student James Franco is set to make his debut on the Broadway stage in a revival of John Steinbeck's classic novel Of Mice and Men. Franco is being touted to star as George, likely opposite Chris O'Dowd (Girls, This is 40), who is in negotiations to take on the role of his good friend, the slow-witted Lennie. Hot Wheels : The monster success of the Fast & Furious 7 franchise has already inspired at least one other speedy motor vehicle movie (The Need for Speed), and now another competitor is revving up its engines. The producers of Hot Wheels, inspired by the Mattel toy line, have hired Simon Crane to helm the project; he's a veteran second-unit director (World War Z).
