X-Men: Days of Future Past : Lucas Till will be reprising the role of Alex Summers, aka the mutant known as Havok, in X-Men: Days of Future Past, according to director Bryan Singer. The filmmaker shared a photo of Till on set in military uniform, with a captioned quotation from President John F. Kennedy: "Mankind must put an end to war before war puts an end to mankind." The movie is heading to theaters on May 23, 2014. [Bryan Singer]
Focus : Will Smith may have a new leading lady. Margot Robbie, who co-stars opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese's upcoming The Wolf of Wall Street, is in talks to star as an inexperienced con artist in Focus; Smith will play an experienced con man who takes her on as a protege before sparks fly. Casting the female lead has been especially challenging, with Michelle Williams, Jessica Biel, Rose Byrne, and Olivia Munn among those considered recently. [Variety]
Edge of Tomorrow : We barely had time to admire the gritty look of Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt as sci-fi soldiers before the movie's title changed from All You Need is Kill -- the English title of Hiroshi Sakurazaka's Japanese-language novel that is the basis for the script -- to Edge of Tomorrow. Warner Bros. has confirmed that the first footage from the movie will be shown at Comic-Con later this week, and also released a Comic-Con poster with the new title.
