Watch: First 'Snowpiercer' Footage Shows the Ice-Swept Future

Our love affair with every hint of what's in store in Joon-ho Bong's Snowpiercer continues unabated, like the massive, perpetual-motion powered train barreling through the ice-covered wreckage of planet earth at the center of the movie. Well, we assume it's like that at least, since we still haven't gotten a clear, untainted look at the movie starring Chris Evans, John Hurt, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Alison Pill, Ed Harris, Ewen Bremner, Octavia Spencer, Kang-ho Song and Ko Asung.

But we keep getting closer and closer, and now we're the closest we've ever been with a behind-the-scenes video that offers us our first in-motion look at the movie.

Unfortunately the video contains Korean voice over, so we're not entirely sure of the context for everything, but it does show Evans aboard the titular train as it's in the middle of revolt. You can see some kind of battering ram being readied by the unwashed masses, and an intense moment where the train is teetering on derailing. It's not all chaos, though. There are a few sweet behind-the-scenes moments of Swinton and Hurt sharing a hug. But then it's followed up with Chris Evans swinging a hatchet into (we presume) someone's face, so really it's everything we want from the guy who made The Host, Mother and Memories of Murder: warm hugs and brutal violence.
