Surprise! There's a new Star Trek Into Darkness teaser making the rounds this weekend. It's chock-full of new footage, a heckuva lot of action, and a few small character moments that not-so-quietly pull you back into the new Star Trek universe that J.J. Abrams and team have assembled. Yes, the teaser is fun to watch, and heck yeah we can't wait to see this sequel, but what we found most interesting here were the tiny nods to some previous sci-fi epics like Tron, Blade Runner and, yes, Star Wars.
