The Avengers 2 : Oh, no, no Loki! Despite -- or maybe because of -- playing a major role in The Avengers, Loki (Thomas Hiddleston), the half-brother of Thor, will not appear in the sequel, according to writer/director Joss Whedon. "Imitating what I did before is the surest way to do it not as well," Whedon says. So, the next Marvel team-up, due on May 1, 2015, will be Loki-less. Hopefully this doesn't mean he dies in Thor: The Dark World. We like Loki! [Empire]
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 : We're always happy to report evidence that superheros are environmentally conscious, though we're not entirely sure if a new behind-the-scenes photo shared by director Marc Webb from the production of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 proves that point, even though he captioned it: "Day 93. Green isn't just for goblins... #sustainablespidey." The movie heads to theaters on April 17, 2014. [Marc Webb's Twitter]
Only God Forgives Trailer: "Wanna fight?" If the previous trailer for Ryan Gosling's neon-lit, blood-soaked Only God Forgives didn't convince you that it was a contender for the most stylish picture of the year, perhaps the new trailer will. Re-teaming with Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn, Gosling plays a drug dealer in Thailand seeking revenge for the death of his brother; Kristin Scott Thomas has a featured role. The movie slashes into theaters on July 19. [Yahoo! Movies]
